The Nationalist Electronics Establishment, also well-known as NATEL, was awarded at the 2009 B.I.D. International Arch of Europe Quality Convention in Frankfurt. NATEL was represented by Mr. Safwat Adeeb El Gawly, Managing Director, from the United Arab Emirates.

Frankfurt, located at the Main River, is the fifth-largest city in Germany, as well as the financial and transportation center of the country and the largest financial center in continental Europe. Significant business sites in the city include the German Federal Bank, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, the Frankfurt Trade Fair, and the seat of the European Central Bank (ECB), responsible for setting the monetary policy of the Eurozone economy for the EU. Frankfurt, site of several major commercial banks and brokerages, has been the financial center of Germany for centuries. The three pillars of this city’s economy are finance, transport, and trade fairs.

At the 2009 International Arch of Europe Quality Convention in Frankfurt, B.I.D. was honored to have NATEL of the United Arab Emirates among those most distinguished winners of the Quality Award. Representative of the company and Managing Director, Safwat Adeeb El Gawly, embodied the aspect of quality culture and excellence that B.I.D. seeks to award with the Arch of Europe Award.

During the International Convention in Frankfurt, President of B.I.D. Jose E. Prieto, upon a few words with the Managing Director of NATEL, had the privilege of discovering that Adeeb El Gawly’s daughter works for CNN, making him a proud father.

Other leading companies from around the world accompanied Safwat Adeeb El Gawly and NATEL at the 2009 B.I.D. International Arch of Europe for Quality Convention in Frankfurt for sharing the common goals of quality, excellence, leadership and the QC100- Total Quality Management. One such company included Falcon Electro Mechanical Contracting, from Palestine, represented by Mr. Yasser Abbas, Chairman and son of the former Palestinian President, Mr. Yasser Arafat.

Previously winning the B.I.D. International Quality Award in the same city was Valery Menshikov, father of the Russian Space Corporation and the director of the “Scientific Research Institute for Space Systems” (SRISS), which 50 years ago launched Sputnik 1, the first artificial satellite to be placed in Earth’s orbit.

With this end in view, the key strategic goals of the company include:

Restructuring of the electric power industry is the key challenge for RAO “UES of Russia”. The reform process is regulated by a whole range of statutory acts. The main goals of the reform are:
